A Journey of Hope, Peace, and Joy
Halfway through our Advent journey, the third week invites us to pause and take joy in the season. Gaudete Sunday shifts our focus from waiting in silence to celebrating a joy that is already present.
This joy does not depend on perfect circumstances or the arrival of Christmas Day; it flows from the promise that the Lord is near. In the midst of preparation and expectation, we are reminded that God is already at work within us and around us.
Advent calls us to notice the signs of hope found in everyday moments—in prayer, in generosity, and in quiet trust. The rose candle shines as a symbol of encouragement, reminding us that light is breaking into the darkness.
As we continue toward Christmas, may this week deepen our awareness of God’s presence, renew our hope, and anchor our hearts in a joy that sustains us, even as we continue to wait.
