Jubilee Celebrations in the Province of Benin – June 2025

In a joyful spirit of thanksgiving, OLA in the Province of Benin gives thanks to God for the recent celebrations of the Silver Jubilee of the religious life of (Srs. Marie-Victoire ZOUMAROU & Felicia NWOSU) and the Diamond Jubilee of two other Sisters (Srs. Jeanne d’Arc AYITE & Marie-Edwige HOUNZA).

These milestones, marked with deep gratitude and joy, are a witness to the grace of God and the faithful commitment of our Sisters to a life of service and mission.

The celebration holds special meaning as it unfolds during the Jubilee Year of the Church and the SMA/OLA Family Jubilee, reminding us of God’s faithfulness through generations and across continents. The jubilarians’ lives are powerful witnesses to the Gospel, lived out in simplicity, audacity, and missionary zeal.

Their years of service—whether in pastoral care, education, healthcare, formation, or missionary outreach—have touched countless lives and inspired hope in communities far and near.
As an international congregation, we, the OLA Sisters, join in heartfelt congratulations to our beloved jubilarians. We thank God for their lives of prayer, love, and prophetic presence in the world.

Let us also pray fervently for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. May the witness of these jubilarians encourage young people to hear and respond generously to God’s call, just as they did.

Congratulations, dear Sisters! Ad multos annos!
